The power-analysis-based weighing system responds to overload conditions in less than 1 second, typically stopping the lift within a height of just 0.3 meters. In contrast, traditional load cell systems have a response time of 3–5 seconds, during which the load may rise as much as 1.5 meters. The system backend records the number of times the load exceeds 105% of the rated capacity. The ratio of these instances to the total number of operations represents the overload rate.
