Following the STS upgrade, 34 rail-mounted gantry cranes at Qingdao New Qianwan are now feeding intelligent power-analysis weighing data directly into the Customs supervision platform.
After upgrading the quayside cranes with Celijia's dual weighing system — which delivered a 5-second-per-cycle handling improvement on light containers and 5 % energy savings — the terminal extended the deployment to 34 rail-mounted gantry cranes.
Their weighing data is now integrated directly into the national Customs supervision platform, providing trustworthy SOLAS-compliant container weight reporting at the source.
