Anti-Mislifting Blind Test at Shenzhen Mawan: 0 Missed Alarms in 14 Trials
Two rounds of on-site blind testing at Shenzhen Mawan Container Terminal confirmed the anti-truck-lifting protection function across all twistlock combinations.
An on-site anti-mislifting test was conducted in February 2025 with seven attempts. After tuning, six additional attempts in April covered the full range of twistlock combinations executed in random order — all six attempts triggered alarms correctly.
Statistics from September 1–15 on yard-bridge No. 302 show 4,193 estimated container moves with 19 anti-hoisting fault alarms, equivalent to a false-alarm rate of 0.45 % and a missed-alarm rate of 0 %.
October testing confirmed that following an alarm the spreader stops within ≈ 20 cm of additional lift height — well inside the safety envelope.
